Matters of the heart: Upgrading to exclusivity

So, I figure it was bound to happen. Not being the first time, but I can't shake the feeling of being scared to be heartbroken. Love is a beautiful thing but can be complicated at times. Loving with an open heart is the best gift you can ever give your partner but what happens when you have trust issues. It gets pretty tough because you have to learn to trust that your partner would never hurt you intentionally, but also to not be naïve enough to believe that everything will be rosey and expect to be on cloud nine.

Taking a chance on love might be a blessing and a curse. But whatever happens, it always leaves us with valuable lessons. So I'm taking my chance and will see how it plays out. Wish me luck...
