Ciao Ciao ♥

15 things I learn t in Italy

1. Every house has a Madonna
2. People of Clusone are super nice. Even though they don't understand a word of English, they'll be patient while you speak your broken Italian-English... Capito?
3. There are a lot of historic buildings, some of the streets were named in the 1400's... Furreal!
4. Via dela Spiga, in Milan, must be one of the most important streets of the fashion world. No words!!!
5. Venice is very nice to look at but I think 1 day is enough for touring... Or maybe a couple of hours because you get bored after a while.
6. When entering a public bus, you have to print the ticket inside the bus otherwise you get a fine same goes for the train, you have to print (check in) your ticket before you get on the train otherwise you'll be fined.
7. Italians make the best pasta, pizza and cheese...
8. If the menu reads "Roast Beef" do not assume that it's beef, it's probably pork, horse meat... You have to read at the end of the sentence because it will tell you if its maiale (pork) or cavallo (horse) Horse meat isn't frowned upon and pork is the most popular.
9. Italians make the best gelato. Furreal.
10. Try and learn basic Italian coz there are very few English speakers in the North of Italy.
11. Trieste is a very beautiful place. You can also see the Slovenian and Croatian coasts from there.
12. Every house I went to had different types of teas, biscuits and bread sticks.... How can I forget? The bread is the best, but I hear the French make it better, but Italians make great bread.
13. They have the most beautiful churches. The best one I saw is Duomo in Milan.... I have no words to describe. Massive and beautiful and a gold Madonna on the rooftop! It's such a beautiful sight.
14. There can me more than 5 churches in 1 village.
15. They mostly have trees on their mountains, green mountains, only a few rocky ones.

It was a great experience, I will share pics soon. Take care for now!

  3. Cool :) Knew we could come to an agreement. This was my 1st trip in 2 years and I usually do it with friends and this time I did it all alone but met one friend there, which made it easier. I only travel when I can and go where I can afford, depending on my savings.

    Take care
