Kimbra - Vows

So, I bought Kimbra's debut album. After hearing her with Gotye on Somebody that I used to know I was fascinated by her voice. I have never heard of her before, but I liked what I heard on youtube so I decided to get the album. It sounded like a soundtrack of a movie about a troubled teenager. As much as I loved it, it sounded like something I've heard before. It was too familiar. I guess I had high expectations, don't regret buying it but it did not leave a lasting impression on me.
